Rockford Systems to Announce Partnership with Unitrol Electronics at Safety 2018 Exposition

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – ROCKFORD, IL, MAY 25, 2018 – Rockford Systems, LLC, a premier provider of machine safeguarding products and services, will demonstrate a range of machine safety solutions at the Safety 2018 Professional Development Conference and Exposition. The company will be exhibiting in booth #2601 at Safety 2018, scheduled from Sunday, June 3 to Tuesday, June 5 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Committed to machine and worker safety through safeguarding education, customized solutions and continual innovation, Rockford Systems is set to announce at Safety 2018 a new partnership with Unitrol Electronics, Inc. As a distribution partner, Rockford Systems will provide sales, installation and technical support on the revolutionary Soft Touch Pinch-Point Safety System for spot welder and pneumatic riveter customers, designed to enhance worker safety and help avoid pinch-point injuries. Roger Hirsh, president of Unitrol Electronics, Inc. and the inventor of Soft Touch, will be on hand in the booth to answer questions from attendees and media.

Show attendees are invited to participate in a live demonstration of Soft Touch’s safety features during all Expo hours. Demo participants will be entered into a drawing to win one of five Amazon® Echo® Plus devices that Rockford Systems is giving away. Drawing winners will be announced daily and do not need to be present to win. Echo Plus connects to the Alexa Voice Service to play music, ask questions, make calls, provide information, news, sports scores, weather, and more. It has a retail value of $149 (USD).

In addition to Soft Touch, Rockford Systems will showcase its full line of machine safeguarding solutions for industrial machinery, including a fully safeguarded mill drill and drill press under power at the show. Booth visitors are welcome to pick up a free OSHA guard opening scale (retail value of $32) or bench grinder safety gauge (retail value of $21), while supplies last.
