The OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Course- Rockford Systems, LLC is intended to provide entry-level general industry workers with information about their rights, employer responsibilities and how to file a complaint. Students will also learn how to identify, abate, avoid and present job-related hazards on a work site. The training course covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards that a worker may encounter. This training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards. Workers are provided with general awareness about recognizing and preventing hazards commonly found in the workplace. OSHA recommends this training as an orientation to occupational safety and health. Ten (10) hours of mandatory and optional topics will be covered.

At Our Location
Rockford Systems offers a variety of safety training courses, including OSHA 10-Hour, OSHA 30-Hour, Hazard Communication and Machine Safeguarding Seminars, at our Rockford Systems Training Center in Rockford, Illinois (150,000 population), 67 miles northwest of Chicago O’Hare International Airport or 5 miles northwest of Chicago Rockford International Airport. There are 20 hotels, many restaurants and CherryVale Mall within 6 miles of Rockford System’s Training Center. The following hotels offer discounted rates to attendees (mention the “Rockford Systems Seminar” at registration): Hampton Inn 815-229-0404. The Courtyard Marriott 815-397-6222 is an alternate but does not offer discounted rates. Most attendees fly into O’Hare, rent a car, and stay at the Hampton Inn. The OSHA Hazard Communication Course is led by Brent Bryden. Brent is the CEO of InterActive Safety Solutions Inc. and a Certified OSHA Safety Instructor for the National Safety Education Center at Northern Illinois University (NIU) in DeKalb, Illinois and the National Safety Council. He has 33 years of manufacturing, environmental, health and safety experience.
