Chief Executive Officer: Joe Nitiss
An experienced business leader with extensive background leading industrial companies, Joe Nitiss has introduced next generation strategies to Rockford Systems that are aggressively driving its growth with an emphasis on strong execution and operational efficiency, while fulfilling its mission to deliver products and solutions that promote a safer, healthier and more profitable workplace for its customers. Before joining Rockford Systems 2016, Mr. Nitiss served as General Manager of the North American business unit of Elster. Mr. Nitiss also spearheaded major strategy and technical shifts as President North America of Emerson’s Chloride Group and during his tenure overseeing Genesis Cable (now Honeywell Cable) as General Manager. Prior to those positions, Mr. Nitiss was Vice President of Marketing & Business Development for Honeywell International and Vice President of Marketing for Emerson. Mr. Nitiss holds an BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from The University of Chicago.

Vice President of Finance: Bill Holliday
Bill Holliday is responsible for all accounting, finance and human resource activities. Bill has over 35 years of financial experience in the manufacturing industry, including Vice President of Finance for J.L. Clark LLC, a diversified packaging company based in Rockford, Illinois from 2002 to 2017, and was Director of Finance at tool maker W.A. Whitney Co. from 1998 to 2002. Mr. Holliday holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting from Northern Illinois University.

Vice President of Engineering & Operations: Brian Boes
Brian Boes is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Electrical Engineering Department. He oversees the design process of Safety Integration to Controls and Machinery, works to develop new products, and assists salespeople in the field with product applications. Brian is a member of the ANSI B11.0 Standards Committee. He has been with Rockford Systems for 19 years and holds an Associates in Applied Science for Electronics Engineering Technology from Rock Valley College.

Vice President of Marketing & Business Development: Carrie Halle
Carrie Halle’s major focus is spearheading and supporting strategic and tactical marketing activities and driving new channel opportunities that present a unified brand identify for Rockford Systems and drive marketplace awareness and growth. In addition, she is responsible for providing strategic direction for major market initiatives, including brand and product strategies, market intelligence, web marketing efforts and social media, marketing services, and voice-of-the-customer interaction. Carrie is a member of the ANSI/RIA R15.06 Steering Committee, the National Safety Council (NSC), the States Safety Alliance Steering Committee, and the Association of Safety Professionals (ASSP). Previous to Rockford Systems, Carrie held various B2B marketing positions with Magid Glove & Safety, Dover’s Pump Solutions Group, Sloan Valve Company and Emerson’s KNAACK Professional Tools Division. Carrie holds an MBA and BBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Vice President of Machine Safeguarding Services: Matt Brenner
Matt Brenner has more than 16 years of experience at Rockford Systems where he began his career as Inside Sales Coordinator, then advanced to Regional Sales Manager/Machine Safeguarding Specialist. In his time with Rockford Systems, Brenner has developed strategic relationships with Fortune 500 customers and distribution partners instrumental to the company’s ongoing success. Matt holds a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree from The University of Illinois.

Director of Machine Safeguarding Services: Phillip Reuter
Phil Reuter has more than 10 years of combined experience at Rockford Systems where he began his career as Machine Safeguarding Installation Lead Technician, then advanced to Regional Sales Manager/Machine Safeguarding Specialist, and is currently leading the company’s installation and technical services function. Previous to Rockford Systems, Phil worked for Silgan Containers as a Production Supervisor. Phil holds an Associates Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology from Southwestern Illinois College.

Director of Business Development: Robert Sanderson
A registered Professional Engineer with an excess of 25 years industrial installations and practical application experience, Robert Sanderson expands our safety portfolio into fuel and thermal safety fields. Prior to joining Rockford Systems, Bob started his career as the primary thermal and applied process expert for a global corporation which built automotive and aerospace assembly plants. Subsequent to that he continued as an industrial combustion and emissions technology specialist for a Fortune 100 company. Bob is a member of the NFPA 86 Standards Committee, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Michigan.

Director of Training: Roger Harrison
Roger Harrison has over 30 years and 25,000 hours of machine safeguarding standards and regulations training hours and is a frequent speaker at the Precision MetalForming Association, ASSP, FABTECH, NSC and many other venues. Roger is also a member of the ANSI/RIA R15.06 Steering Committee and an advisor to the ANSI B11 Committee. Roger holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University.
