Frequently asked questions
How many parts can you cut from one sheet of material?
The yield of parts will depend on the size of the part and the size of the material. The waterjet has minimal kerf width and has tight tolerance which will maximize the number of parts created.
Is there a minimun and maximum thickness of material that you will cut?
We can cut parts in a variety of thicknesses; however, we recommend that you call us to discuss the details of your requirements.
Is there a minimum order?
No, we can cut one piece up to a bajillion pieces!
What type of files do you require?
We require drawings in DXF format that show the cut lines only.
What if I don’t have a DXF file?
For an additional fee, we can create a DXF file for you based off your drawing showing measurements.
Where does the water go after a cutting job is completed?
Water used in our waterjet cutting process is separated from the abrasives and is environmentally safe for standard drainage. The all-natural abrasives are also environmentally safe and are thrown out in the trash bin.
