Economical control and safeguarding packages are available for older mechanical-friction-clutch press brakes. The package shown allows the operator to keep the mechanical foot pedal to actuate the machine. The light curtain is the point-of-operation safeguard.

Packages that eliminate the mechanical foot pedal and replace it with a foot switch are also available.

These controls comply with OSHA* 29 CFR, 1910.212 and ANSI** B11.3 Safety Standards.
