Selecting an S3P- Professional Safety Laser Scanner

Follow steps 1-5 to determine the part number for the professional safety laser scanner, configuration components, and mounting kit. See the ordering information below.

Step 1. The first 3 digits for the professional safety laser scanner are S3P.
Step 2. The 4th and 5th digits determine the safety zone scanning range.
Step 3. The 6th digit determines the cable length with plug.
Step 4. Choose a configuration cable and configuration software (one cable and software configures
one or more scanners).
Step 5. Choose a base mounting kit, or add to the base kit for vertical and horizontal adjustment capability.
Step 6. Optional—order a safety laser scanner floor stand.

Configuration Components—Required

At least one configuration cable is required for connecting an S3000 safety laser scanner to a PC to enable configuration. In addition, at least one copy of the configuration software (CDS) is required to enable configuration of an S3000 safety laser scanner. One cable and one CDS can be used to configure one or more S3000 safety laser scanners.

Mounting Kits—Required

The S3000 safety laser scanner can be mounted vertically or horizontally. A mounting kit (sold separately) is required. S3L-MK1 is the base mounting kit—S3L-MK2 adds on to the S3L-MK1, and S3L-MK3 adds on to S3L-MK1 and S3L-MK2. See the ordering information below.

S3000 Floor Stand—Optional

This floor stand is designed specifically for mounting all models of the safety laser scanner. The stand is constructed of aluminum extrusion on a steel base plate which can be bolted to the floor.
